Berikut adalah senarai keputusan (secara am).
Keputusan penuh (tunggu slip keputusan exam anda)

  1. Chan Tiam Tong
  2. Che Zihan Che Ismail
  3. Ku Mohd Yusri
  4. Goh Yoong Lik
  5. Marshidah Annuar

Designing costume for theatre

Let me share my 10 years of experience in designing costume for theater. Before you start with any sketch, there are few things that you have to consider:

i) The story ( including the script: how many scene involve in that story? etc)
ii) The concept / theme (this stage you need all the designers to involve to avoid clashing of concept, colour, ideas, etc). Brainstorming needed.
iii) Research: Inspiration / reference of facts and historical view (if any)
iv) Idea development (including subject matter) : Put into consideration of its elements and principles of design
v) Sketch (but master the figure drawing first or at least the correct human proportion)
vi) Colour (based on your research, the importance of character and focus)
vii) Discuss with the production team
viii) Production of costume (sewing or renting)
x) Fitting on casts
xi) Amendment (if any)
xi) Full dress rehearsal with stage and actual lighting use for the show.
xii) Amendment (if any)
xiii) The show time!

The details, i will discuss in other posts.
